SOCIAL MEDIA FREELANCER

Our creative team is seeking a strategic and experienced Freelance Social Media Manager to take over client accounts and help execute strategies while collaborating directly with our creative team and project managers. This role is supported by a talented team of photographers, designers, videographers, and project managers, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital media, excellent written communication skills, and expertise in managing social media platforms, including Instagram (Feed, Stories, Reels), LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.

This hands-on role requires creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new strategies, tools, and procedures to support campaigns and content production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of client accounts, executing social media strategies and ensuring high-quality output

  2. Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute creative ideas that capture the attention of target audiences

  3. Write and edit engaging copy for social media posts

  4. Strategize and implement social media concepts for client accounts, ensuring consistent community engagement

  5. Schedule and deploy posts across multiple platforms

  6. Organically grow social media accounts through thoughtful engagement and strategy

  7. Monitor, analyze, and present social media performance data

  8. Assist in managing and organizing content assets

  9. Participate in marketing campaigns and brainstorms

  10. Maintain interaction across social platforms to foster audience engagement

  11. Cover events during weekends or weekday evenings when required

  12. Create and produce phone-shot content that aligns with client brands

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred

  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills

  3. Proficiency in managing all major social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)

  4. Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics

  5. Visual design experience (preferred but not required)

  6. Exceptional time management and attention to detail

  7. Strong sense of accountability and ability to work in a team environment

  8. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and trends

Position Type: Contractor; work will be assigned based on available client hours

Compensation: $15 – $20 per hour
