Leadership Spotlight: Anu Chiluveru

Meet Anu Chiluveru, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chil & Co., an award-winning boutique content creation agency that has quickly become one of Atlanta’s top 100 fastest-growing companies. Armed with a B.A. from Emory University, an M.Ed from Mercer University, and additional business training from Dartmouth and Northwestern Universities, Anu has transformed our agency from a two person team into a vibrant and diverse creative force. Her passion for professional development, diversity, and community impact extends beyond the business, as she serves as Vice President of Professional Development for the Emory Alumni APIDA Network and a member of the USPAACC WISE Cohort 2 where she mentors other business leaders as well as is a mentee herself. Her leadership continues to inspire positive change in both the creative industry and the local community.

Anu Chiluveru’s passion for professional development, coaching, and social impact lies at the heart of both her personal and professional journey. As the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chil Media, a dynamic media and content powerhouse based in Atlanta, Anu has made significant contributions to the local community and beyond.

Through Chil Media, she leads one of Atlanta’s most successful content creation agencies, Chil & Co., as well as Chil Studios, an award-winning 3,300-square-foot production studio. Under her leadership, the company has grown from a small team of two in 2013 to a diverse collective of over 30 creatives specializing in visual storytelling. Her strategic vision and operational expertise have been key to the agency’s impressive success.

Anu holds a Master’s degree in Education from Mercer University and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Emory University, an academic foundation that informs her approach to business and community engagement. She is deeply committed to supporting local initiatives and has collaborated with businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to offer boutique, affordable services that enhance their storytelling and marketing efforts.

A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Anu has implemented policies that prioritize diversity and support equitable job opportunities. Under her leadership, Chil Media has been recognized as a minority-owned business for three consecutive years by the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Her commitment to inclusivity has set a new standard within the creative industry.

Anu’s contributions to her community and leadership at Chil & Co. have earned her prestigious recognition. In 2023, she was honored with the Emory Entrepreneur Award and was recently accepted to be part of USPAACC WIse Cohort 2025, which is a women Initiative for strategic empowerment. An active member of Toastmasters International, Anu engages in public speaking and fosters community partnerships, particularly supporting arts, culture, and community development initiatives in Atlanta.

Beyond her role at Chil Media, Anu serves as the Vice President of Professional Development for the Emory Alumni APIDA Network Board. In this role, she helps provide resources, events, and educational sessions that bridge the gap for Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander communities, creating a sense of belonging while equipping young professionals with the skills and knowledge to thrive.

Anu Chiluveru’s journey exemplifies her unwavering commitment to growth, inclusivity, and community impact. Her leadership continues to inspire, making her a true force for positive change in Atlanta’s creative and entrepreneurial landscape. In her spare time, she likes to practice yoga and spend time with her daughter and husband.
